Fat transfers are surgical procedures where fat is taken, usually from the abdomen, and injected into areas that can do with more volume around the face. This may include the cheek area, the orbital sulcus, which is the space between the upper eyelids and the eyebrow, or sometimes into the lower lids if there is a hollowing.
It can also be used around the chin, jawline and jowls. It if often combined with other facial surgical procedures, but can be done as a stand alone procedure as well.
It does require hospital admission as it has to be done under sterile conditions and requires some form of anaesthesia.
Involved downtime: Downtime is variable, but it generally only around a week and can be shortened with the Preface “Premium Package”.
