IPL Photorejuvenation

IPL Photorejuvenation

The Lumenis- M22 IPL is the most advanced gentle, non-invasive IPL on the market. The broad spectrum of light used in IPL Photorejuvenation treatments is absorbed by the target tissue, and is then removed by the body’s natural processes.

This treatment provides dramatic improvements in the appearance of aged skin, removes age spots, most benign brown pigments and redness caused by broken capillaries.

How does it work?

A broad spectrum of light is transmitted with the IPL handpiece. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood, when treating vascular lesions, or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions. The body’s natural processes then remove the damaged tissue giving the skin a more even tone and texture, and a more youthful appearance.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment is generally administered in a series of approximately four to six treatments depending on the desired results.

IPL Photorejuvenation is designed to address the following:

Sun damaged skin

Skin redness

Broken capillaries

Active acne

Acne rosacea
