Laser Liposuction

Laser Liposuction

Laser Liposuction is a procedure targeted at lower eyelid bags, chins and jowls. It works by denaturing fat, which the body then absorbs through natural means. It is less invasive than traditional liposuction. One of the most common areas addressed with Laser Liposuction is removing the appearance of double chins.

Laser Liposuction is designed to address the following:

Lower Eyelid Bags

Jowl Reduction

Chin Fat Reduction

Double Chin Removal & Reduction

Laser Liposuction at Prèface Cosmetic

Smartlipo™ at Prefacè Cosmetic is used to enable the removal of excess fat in lower eyelid bags, underneath the jowls and chin area. The fat is left to absorb naturally over a period of time or can be removed immediately (liposuction). Laser liposuction can be combined with the iNeedle thread technique to tighten the chin area and provide chin reduction. Smartlipo™ can also be combined with collagen stimulating techniques such as Thermage, eTwo Sublime and Pellevé.

Laser Liposuction is a procedure performed in Dr Hollenbach’s rooms usually done with local anaesthesia and sedation.

Laserlipolysis

An Innovation That Has Revolutionised Liposculpture

Laserlipolysis is indicated for treating localised fat deposits in specific body zones and is extremely effective in areas where diet and physical exercise fail to produce positive results. It is even possible to treat the more delicate areas for which traditional liposuction is not normally recommended, such as lower eyelids, cheeks & double-chins.

Since it has a shrinking effect, while also stimulating the dermal collagen, Smartlipo™ greatly reduces flabby skin. This particularly works well as a traditional liposuction technique in the chin area because there is natural tightening of the skin induced by the laser after removing the fat. Other collagen stimulating treatments such as Thermage, eTwo Sublime and Pellevé will further enhance skin tightening.

Laser-Assisted Liposuction

The photomechanical action of the laser can be assisted by low-pressure aspiration through a special microcannula with a diameter of only 3mm. The fat is removed immediately without any trauma or lesions. This procedure is particularly suitable when removing larger volumes in patients who want immediate results.

What are the risks involved with Laser Liposuction?

Recovery from Laser Liposuction:
