The Medlite Nd:YAG Dual Wavelength Laser System is one of the most technologically advanced non- ablative lasers for removing tattoos and pigmented lesions. This treatment is perfect for those looking for a safe, quick procedure to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin.

 

How does it work?

 

The Medlite laser works by stimulating collagen production. As the new collagen is generated, lines and wrinkles decrease. The Medlite laser removes the pigmented lesions with energy of light. The specialised light is absorbed by the pigmented lesion. The unwanted pigment is then destroyed – removing or lightening the lesion.

 

The same process is used for the removal of tattoos however the light is absorbed by the tattoo ink. This light then breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny particles which can be removed by the body’s natural filtering systems.

 

How many treatments will I need?

 

Laser skin rejuvenation is a gradual process. Usually, four to six treatments spaced 3-5 weeks apart are required. There is no downtime associated with this procedure.
